November comes to its end and you know what I've been doing in November? I've been updating my portfolio, adding some new illustrations to keep the content fresh and updated. The theme of my drawings during this November is autumn, as you can see it reflected in the pictures. If you noticed, I use less vibrant color now and use softer and less bold color palette. I still like colorful and vibrant bouncy color, but somehow, I found this color very comfortable in my eyes. I think I just found my favorite color palette.

I visited Gardens by the Bay to see Singapore Garden Festival 2016 (SGF 2016) in the last day of the festival which was last July (I know, it's like half year ago! Haha). It was my 3rd time visited Gardens by the Bay and it was still an amazing trip, especially because this time was a bit different. When first we got the SGF 2016 tickets, I really had no expectation about the festival because everything in Gardens by the Bay itself is already so beautiful.
We began the journey by seeing this, right in front of the entrance. If you realized, I always like to take picture of maps! However, it was cloudy and about to rain at the time of my visit and I couldn't get the best shot of this map since there were so many people crowding outside the entrance and I had to start queueing to enter the festival.
After entering the entrance gate, Worlds of Terrarium was the first stop. As someone who likes to see terrarium, it was really wonderful! Unfortunately, I didn't spend a lot of time there because the crowds were so crazy and I didn't like to throng around a bunch of people.
These are some of the highlight exhibitions of SGF 2016. Everything looks beautiful and amazing! I really admire the designer's hard work. One of my favorite artwork was named Cocoon (two last photos).
This festival was surely a magical wonderland. It was not solely just showing you flowers or plants, but also a place to tell a story. I like this wonderful area called Secret Garden. There are a bunch of small details there that excited me and made me wish that I was Alice.
The dome didn't have any significant change except for adding a corner for orchid show. It was crowded and I wasn't in the mood of squeezing so I didn't go near the orchid show. However, I can still capture the view from up there. I could tell that most visitors looked very enthusiast about the orchid show.
Overall, I really like this festival. It was beautiful and amazing! I am looking forward to visit SGF 2017 next year.

I shot these photos a day after I finally marathon-watched the movie Anchorman and Anchorman 2. I've heard about how funny the Anchorman movie was before and never really had the urge to watch it until that one lazy Saturday. It was indeed a hilarious movie and that makes me question myself, why didn't I watch them earlier? These are the best "stupid" comedy I've seen in years!
Anyway, more or less this look is inspired by the color burgundy that the main actor of the Anchorman movie, Ron Burgundy, is always wearing. I paired a burgundy pant with an off-white sleeveless shirt that has a cute tie front design. I also wear my favorite black suede platform heels to create a taller figure and carry a faux patent box bag that I just recently got from random sale in a mall.

There is no doubt that Petronas Twin Towers is the must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These two identical towers are known as the country's most iconic building and it is sure to be found everywhere as a souvenir when you visit Malaysia. I made a weekend getaway to Kuala Lumpur months ago to visit this famous skyscraper and go inside it to enjoy the skyline of Kuala Lumpur. The city looks pretty magical from up there.

It's been slow and steady, but the windy weather is approaching Singapore. However, that doesn't mean it's still not going to be hot, especially in the midday. C'mon, it's Singapore after all. Anyway, one of my favorite things to wear during this airy period is loose layered clothing like matching this sleeveless mesh top with printed mini skirt. There's something summery about see-through clothing, which is obviously a good thing for me. A floral pattern is also a good idea to be paired with because it adds a cute and sweet looking touch into the look.

Before this, walking through a treetop bridge was not necessarily thing on my bucket list; matter of fact, that I'm scared of height. However, after spending a nice Saturday trekking at MacRitchie Reservoir, I'm kind of want to get more challenging experience like this again somehow.
I took a total of 10 km trekking at this beautiful reservoir. To get up to the treetop, first I took a roughly 5 km walking through an intricate boardwalk and hiking through a long and steep stairs inside the forest.
Frankly, it wasn't the best exercise ever because I just got my blood taken as a sample test for a medical check-up on the same day before I visited this park. If you notice, the medical plaster was still on my left hand when I started off the trip. I also didn't get enough water to start and during the trekking, because I innocently thought that they will anyhow provide vending machine inside the forest to compliment the visitors. Well, it was a very wrong thought about visiting a nature reserve.
And this is me, finally made it to the top. This free-standing suspension bridge connects two highest points in MacRitichie. I need to make a confession that I was really terrified at first and this unglam picture of me described it well. Haha. I held tightly onto the bridge fence the whole time to keep my balance and so I would not fall (not that it was something that was going to happen). Not sure if I had acrophobia, but after a while everything was okay and if I should stroll along this treetop again, I certainly will. Still with my hand holding the fence, obviously.
These were pretty much everything that I saw from the treetop: TREES. If I wasn't that scared, it would be a perfect moment to take a deep breath and enjoy the bird's eye view. I could still feel a bit of breezy air going through me when I was there and it was a very good feeling.
And of course, this park also offers more than just the walking trail and the treetop walk. There is a designated area for watersports so people can rent kayaks for some fun in the water. Overall, this place is another great outdoor for nature enthusiasts.
