A life event update: I just had an engagement party and I'm going to get married and permanently move to Singapore!
This a huge milestone of my life for sure. Yes, I'm in my 20s and I choose to settle down at this age with a guy that I love. And I have no regret, so far.
To be honest, I used to like the ideas of living my life to the fullest before settling down. But then again, I haven't even done half of the list on this 101 Things To Do Before You Settle Down In Your 20s article, and you know what, I don't care. And even though I like Thought Catalog and occasionally read their articles (some of them are good, indeed), I feel that this one article is a bit shallow and forced in a boring way. In fact, you don't have to be single to do all those things on the list. Many people think that marriage is the end of your freedom and happiness. I have only one live, that's true, and that's why I decided to live it with no regret. I do my best and be myself. I don't bother spending my time listening to how people live their life and how I should live my life based on their opinion. People should have the courage to have their own thoughts and decisions and live their own life. But then again, that article is just the writer's opinion, I respect that :)
But anyway, yes I'm getting married soon and I've moved to Singapore since June 20th, 2016. I made a vlog about how I feel about this crazily beautiful moment of my life.
People say, home is where your heart is, where the people that you love live. Home is not a place, it's a feeling. But what if your feeling is divided? What if the people that you love, live far to each other, when you only have one body and you can only put yourself in one place at a time?
I grew up in a small town in Indonesia, surrounded by people I love, that sometimes can be crazy and funny too. I used to think that I wanted to be forever home, until I realize, there is nothing wrong with not staying put in the town you grew up in. Though it provides comfort and a sense of security, but exploring new places and meeting new faces, can sometimes make life become more life.
The hardest part about moving is doing it. Leaving the comfort zone behind. Planning how you're going to feed yourself. And this is where I live now. This country, it was foreign to begin with. I was a tourist when I first came here. It was like a dream and a nightmare. I never know what it brings me. It's still a surprise even until today, but there's something about it that I feel grateful for. It taught me lessons and it inspires me to see and experience more.
What makes it even more great is that, I don't need to experience it alone. Having someone that I can share my passion with, to tell him my dreams every morning I wake up, and to find answers for questions about this universe together, to find out more of what life offers. It's amazing. This guy, is the man of my life. He is the one that I choose to spend the rest of my life with no regret.

This is my first speed painting video ever, a painting of me and my dog Suri that I drew for fun a year ago. My hair was exactly like that at that time. I'm drawing with watercolor on my sketchbook.
This is actually a re-upload video that I deleted a while back from my Youtube channel, Carolynn's Stuffs, because I was concerned about the background music that I used. When I first started doing Youtube, I wasn't so aware about the copyrighted content that I used in my video
I will keep uploading more speed paintings in my channel. Stay tune and I hope you enjoy it :)

Wouldn’t it be great if you could stay in your pajamas at home 24/7 and have the flexibility to extend your vacation time as long as you want while still making money to pay the bills? Does being a freelancer can really turn your stable income of everyday 9-to-5 inside the cubicle into making as much money as you possibly can by working for an hour or so a day on the beach or wherever you want your "office" to be?
The answer could be "Yes" and also could be "No".

It's been more than a month since Earth Day 2016, which was the actual day I made this cute mini desktop garden and filmed the tutorial. Yes, this was supposed to be my contribution on Earth Day this year, but except on my Instagram, I missed the chance to share it elsewhere. It's true that I was pretty busy with stuffs and I've been travelling to Singapore a lot lately that makes me keep postponing to edit the footage. But today, since I'm already back to my house in Indonesia and since I'm also taking a day off that actually was meant to be for resting because I have a terrible sore throat, I eventually got the time to edit the video and come up with something to upload and share on my DIY Youtube channel.
This DIY is perfect for if you want to make your desk looks greener and prettier. When choosing the plants, opt for plants that can thrive well indoor like succulents or cactus.
